How it works

From an idea to a place you live in — step by step

Look around before you sign up. Joining a community is never automatic, and nobody sees your personal details.

  1. 1

    Find or start a community

Browse the map, or start your own with a short questionnaire. Private communities appear only as an approximate area; you can introduce yourself and they decide whether to reply.

  2. 2

    Share at your own pace

Say hello with an icon and a few words. Money details are optional — a rough range, or "I'd rather not say yet". Only you see your figures; others see anonymous group totals.

  3. 3

    Plan together

The planner shows what land, a first simple set-up (tipis, compost toilets, water, solar) and later builds would cost — and how much each person would save by living together.

  4. 4

    Decide together

Proposals, votes and assemblies. Land plots are shortlisted, voted on, offered for, and — once accepted — recorded at the price actually paid.

  5. 5

    Promise, then a good-faith deposit

Members promise what they'd put in. The group decides a small deposit (a fixed amount or a percentage) to show it's serious. Holding that money is agreed between you — the platform reminds and guides.

  6. 6

    Agreements, then a lawyer

The platform drafts the proposal and memorandum of understanding. You review them with a lawyer before anyone signs or pays anything significant.

  7. 7

    Not ready? Support and visit

Make a contribution and come to visit — try community life, support something you believe in, or plan your move for later.

This demo community is fictional, but everything in it is real platform data: members around the world, votes, a secured plot and agreement drafts ready for the lawyer.
